I need to start off by saying I had such a difficult time coloring this image. :( It was not the image itself, but more like a problem with my printer. Yes, that's it we will blame it on the printer. ;) After printing, I always heat set my digi images with my heat gun. Well after the first four attempts at coloring and my ink still smearing I decided to heat set a little longer....thus scorching my image and turning the paper a not so lovely shade of BURNT. Sigh....so I tried again and took it really slowly. I didn't do much shading as I was afraid to smear the ink. It still smeared near the little seam lines but I tried to cover it up with a darker color. Anyone have any tips or tricks they would like to share...please?
The digi image and sentiment is called "Sock it Monkey" and is from Whimsie Doodles. The paper is from a older DCWV Spring Matstack that I have had for awhile. I made this card for my daughter Caitlin who always cracks up at those Kia sock monkey commercials. LOL
