CUPCAKE ANYA BIRTHDAY - CARD

Does my blog avatar look familiar?  Right now this Cupcake Anya image from THE GREETING FARM is my new favorite!!  She's  too cute and easy to color.  If I do say so myself, I think I am getting slightly better with the whole brush stroke thing in the coloring of her hair.  I still need ton more practice but I think the coloring of this image is greatly improved compared to my much earlier colorings using Copics.  If anyone has some great Copic coloring tutorial videos that they can suggest, I would certainly appreciate it.  There are so many great sources of inspiration out in the crafting world and I am always looking for ways to improve.  :)

So blogger is being a serious pain and will not link up the Greeting Farm website.  You can find a link for them to the right of my blog under "Blogs I Love to Stalk" and "Places I Love to Shop"...sigh.

LATTE FUN - CARD

I have been wanting this Latte Anya stamp from THE GREETING FARM forever.  Every time I went to order it, it was on back order.  Then I requested it for Christmas, alas on back order again.  I finally got her for my birthday several weeks ago and I LOVE her!!  She is my new favorite stamp.  I should mention that I did find her two weeks ago at my LSS, after trying for months to buy her on-line.  Go figure :P

You can find the tutorial for this k-cup holder created by Lori Tecler HERE.  The tutorial is for a 2 k-cup caddy. I wanted mine to hold 4 so I made two holders and then glued the backs together.  Here is a LINK for the  template for the card fold I used.  All of the patterned paper used for both the card and the holder is from the Paper Studio.

I am so excited for this little gift and card pairing.  I love how they turned out and can't wait to give them away!!

MAKE A WISH - CARD

Short and sweet post today.  A real quick and simple card that I made for a sweet child that used to attend my daycare.  Why is it that I never feel older when my birthdays come up, but my children or my daycare children's birthdays?  Yeah that's when I feel really old!!

This cutie patootie stamp is Simply Anya from THE GREETING FARM.  I received her last month for my birthday and could not wait to ink her up.  I can see so many occasions where I can use this image.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!

BIRTHDAY HUGS & FISHES - CARD

Anyone that has followed my blog from the beginning will know that this mermaid stamp, from THE GREETING FARM, is my most used and abused stamp.  I don't think I can ever get tired of coloring this image.

One of my sweet daycare babes turned 4 over the weekend.  For her birthday we bought her a Little Mermaid toy.  So, it was a no brainer that I would once again reach for this stamp to go with her gift.

All die cuts were cut using the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.  The shell was cut at 4 3/4",  the orange coral at 4" and the green coral at 3 1/4".   All the images were colored using Copic markers.  I couldn't resist adding a little bling to Mermaid Anya's hair.  Do you like the little sea creature images?  They were a lucky find last weekend in the clearance section at Michael's.  They are called Ocean Friends from Recollections.  There are several more little creatures in the set.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!  I can't wait for the weekend as my LSS is having a huge Saturday sale and I have been squirreling moola away like a mad woman for a little shopping excursion.  :D  Hurry up weekend!!

HANG TEN BIRTHDAY - CARD

Just how cute is this little surfer Anya image?!  I got her for Christmas and could not wait to ink her up!!  I decided to use her on a birthday card for a sweet friend who happens to be a very cool chick, just like Anya here.

Surfer Anya can be purchased from THE GREETING FARM.  They are one of my most favorite stamp companies! The palm tree and sun were cut from the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge.  The tree was cut at 4 1/2 inches and the sun at 1 inch.  I added a little Glossy Accents to her Surfboard and popped up the flower in her hair.  Do you like the little buttons?  They were a impulse purchase while on a recent trip to my LSS.  I just couldn't pass up those little sunglasses.

LET'S CELEBRATE - CARD

At first I will admit, I was not happy with this card.  However, it is now starting to grow on me a little and is not quite the disaster I thought it was.   I think I was most unhappy with how the coloring of this image turned out.  I haven't played with my Copics in a while, and well it shows.  I think I need more practice.

The image is a digi stamp (Chibi Cupcakes) from THE GREETING FARM that was colored (not to great, might I add) using Copic markers.  The patterned paper is from my scrap stash and the sentiment is from the Inviting stamp set by Stampin' Up.

That's it for now, I'm off to play (practice) with my Copics some more.  :)

OUT OF THIS WORLD - CARD

Tomorrow another one of my daycare cuties turns 3.  Seems like they are growing up way to fast.

Here is a card I created in honor of Jacob's 3rd birthday.  The rocket ship and sentiment are freebie digi stamps that I have had for some time and can not recall who makes them.  The little astronaut is a GREETING FARM stamp.  I love the little Anya's and Ian's and this is the first time I have used this stamp.  The patterned paper is from my scrap stash and I used Glossy Accents on the rocket window and little Ian's helmet.

Happy Birthday Jacob!!  You are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

TUTU CUTE BIRTHDAY II - CARD

For those of you that have been with me since the beginning, this card may look familiar.  You can find the original post of this card HEREI have been dying to re-create this card and take better photos of it for my blog.  I would like to think that my coloring with the Copics has greatly improved since my first take on this card, but I really don't notice much of a difference.  ;)  I will say however, that the photo quality has greatly improved thanks to hubby making me a light box.  Thanks babe!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS - CARD

This has to be one of my all time favorite Anya stamps from The Greeting Farm.  If making a little girl card, you simply can not go wrong with Princess Anya!!

I made this card for one of my sweet daycare babes that recently turned 2 and loves princesses.  I colored the image in using Copic markers and added stickles to her gown.  I found some random chipboard stickers in my stash for her crown and wand, and added a few pink pearls.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaili!!

CHEEKY CHAT PHONE BOOK

For those of you that have been following me for some time, I am sure it is no surprise to see a Greeting Farm stamp on this project.  I am ADDICTED to TGF and their Anya and Cheeky stamps.  I MUST own them ALL......insert evil laugh here LOL.

This is a little phone book that I purchased from Michael's and altered a bit to my liking, using the Cheeky Chat stamp.  I think she is perfect for a altered phone book! I colored her in using Copics, used a little Glossy Accents on the phone and a little bit of stickles.

I may have to make one of these for myself as this one actually went to a friend for her birthday.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS - CARD

My poor blog always seems to get neglected right around the end of the school year. This year was exceptionally busy with Caitlin graduating from 8th grade and preparing her for her big New York/D.C. trip. Now that we are past all that I am hoping to get back to being crafty.

Here is a card that I made for one of my cutie patootie daycare babies that turned 2 this past weekend. The image is Princess Anya from The Greeting Farm and the castle was cut from the Doodle Charms Cricut cart. Lots of bling and sparkle on this one for the little princess.

YOU'RE A HOTTIE!! - CARD

As my hubby visits my blog from time to time I had to wait until after Valentine's Day to post this one. This is the first time that I have made a side step card and I have to say that I am completely hooked!! It was really easy to make and fun to decorate.

I have had this Hallo Shedevil digi image from The Greeting Farm for ever and could not wait to use her for this. All of the papers are from my scrap stash. The ribbon is from American Crafts, the little pink hearts were cut out using a Quick Kutz die, and I used my new Martha Stewart border bunch.
Here's a side view of the fold. Like I said, very easy.

SUPER SIZE IT - SOCCER STYLE!

This weekend we had the pleasure of attending our niece's soccer game. She is only 6, but she is the best little soccer player I have ever seen! We wanted to make a sign to bring with us to show our support and how proud we are of her and well, you know how obsessed I am with the Greeting Farm Stamps so, this is what I came up with.

I just printed my Soccer Anya digi stamp onto flesh, white, black, yellow and green pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and then paper pieced her together. The result? Well I think she is adorable and Alyssa loved her.
Here is a a close up of my super sized Soccer Anya. Here is our cutie patootie niece, Alyssa. LOVE that smile!!

Here she is again, hard at work, the next great soccer star.

BEWITCHING HOUR - INVITE

The minute I saw this bewitching cutie digital stamp from The Greeting Farm I knew she would make her debut on our Halloween party invites for this year.

The invite is pretty simple and plain as I had so many to make and I take FOREVER to color but I did get to use this adorable image and my new Martha Stewart border punch so I am a happy gal.

UNDER THE SEA BIRTHDAY - CARD

I swear this is the most used and abused stamp I have. Every time I tell myself to go with something different I still go ahead and reach for this one. I do have a valid excuse, beside it being one of my favorites, one of the many parties that we are attending in a few weeks is a mermaid themed party. So how could I not use Mermaid Anya for the birthday card? I used my Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge for the coral and shell. I always forget how versatile that cart is with the many accessories on it. I added a little bling to Anya's hair, a few fishy brads from Recollections and a pearl from an old costume necklace. I just love this stamp. :)

SCHOOL ROCKS!!

Right now there are two things that I am addicted to. #1) is The Greeting Farm stamps (I love love love them) and #2) is altering composition notebooks for all of my little school age friends. I figure they can never have too many notebooks. ;)
I made this one for a friend of mine who's daughter recently started school. I just had to use Rock Star Anya from The Greeting Farm. She has just the right amount of spunk. The guitar is paper pieced with help from a clip art picture that I found and altered a bit.
I still have a stack of naked composition notebooks BEGGING to be made over. Hmmmm, I see a Christmas notebook/organizer in my future.
