A HEDGEHOG BIRTHDAY - CARD

I swear spring cleaning the scrapbook room is like going on a treasure hunt.  All of the loot that I discovered that has been buried and unused is ridiculous.  I found this image from a stamp image swap that I participated in many years ago.  I literally had to blow the dust off of this image before coloring it.  I seriously wish I owned this stamp because it is a cutie.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.  All of your comments and feedback is so greatly appreciated!

HEDGEHOG LOVE - CARD

How cute are these little guys?!!  I have not used these stamps in FOREVER and seriously had to dig them out of the bottom of my stamp drawer and blow a layer of dust off of them.  I think they are perfect for my niece's Valentine's card.

The stamps are called "Every Which Way" from Penny Black.  The patterned paper and cardstock are from my scrap stash.  I added a little Glossy Accents to the hearts and a few Doodlebug heart gems that I just recently purchased.

If you notice that my posts are more frequent than usual it's because I have a avalanche of Valentine's project's that I have created that I want to share prior to Valentine's day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - CARD

Happy Monday everyone. Just stopping by to make a quick post with a birthday card I completed last week. I swear my "to do" lists are spiraling out of control between all of the birthdays and the holidays coming up. I am in awe of those that make blog posts daily of their projects. How do you do it? Please let me in on your secret. :)

I received this image from a image swap last year. It's a Penny Black image from the Critter Party set. Hope everyone has a great week. I am currently working on 20 Christmas Party invites and am hoping to finish them up this week to share with you all.

YOU MAKE ME SMILE - CARD

I just love this image from Penny Black. It's titled "Love Conquers". The little snail is simply adorable.

Gamsol and my Prisma pencils were used to color the image in. The papers used were borrowed from my scrap stash and the "for you" sentiment is a Studio G dollar stamp.

Have a great weekend everyone and HAPPY 4TH!!

WELCOME LITTLE ONE!! - CARD

I am anxiously awaiting the birth of my new nephew. My SIL is due on Saturday but I am hoping the little guy comes early!!!

Here is a card that I whipped up to accompany my SIL's baby shower gift last month. The stamp is 2073J "Baby Hammock" from Penny Black. I colored the image with my Prismas using the Gamsol technique. I also used my Nestabilities....I think it's the labels two? A little glossy accents, some ribbon, a $1 Studio G sentiment stamp and a safety pin.

Now if the little guy would just make his grand entrance!!

THANKS - CARD

Here is yet another "thank you" card. The stamped image is from Penny black and is titled "Sweet Catch". Of course my Bellas are my first love, but the Penny Black hedge hogs sure come in a close second!! I used my Prisma pencils and Gamsol. Oh and I broke down and bought 4 of the Copic markers to play with this weekend. Did I mention they were a little on the expensive side? $6.50 a piece...YIKES!!! Which explains why I only bought four of them. I will let you all know how I like them after I play with them a little. If there is someone out there that knows a good video or can give me any tips, I'm all ears.

GHOSTLY GUM SLIDERS

I found a wonderful tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers on how to make Hershey Bar Sliders. The directions stated that you could tweak the measurements to put just about anything inside, including gum packets. I would love to give the gal credit who posted the tutorial but I forgot to bookmark her post and now I can not find it. I made 40 of these for the gals that were at the swarm. They were so easy to make. You simply pull the ribbon and out comes the treat. I used paper from the DCWV Halloween Glitter Stack. The adorable ghost is a Penny Black stamp - 1911D Happy Ghost. I added a little ribbon and used a punch from Scott's work. I think SU may have a punch very similar that I need to get and of course I added a little stickles. I just can't seem to make something without putting a little sparkle on it!

If it's not another Bella stamp it's a hedgehog (Penny Black) stamp. I made this card for my Mom and Dad's Anniversary at the end of the week. They have been married 30 years.

CELEBRATE - CARD

To date my favorite stamps are Bellas, Whipper Snappers, House Mouse and Penny Black. This is a Penny Black stamp called "Lazy Days". I just love the cute little hedgehog! I colored it using the gamsol technique and added stickles to the center of the flower. The "Celebrate" is a Studio G $1 stamp from Michael's and the flower die cut is from the cuttlebug with a dyed skittle in the center. I wish I owned more of these cute little hedgehogs.
