GOT CANDY CORN? PLUS FREE DIGI HALLOWEEN STAMPS!

Just how stinking cute are these little milk cartons?? I used the Mini Milk Carton die from Stampin' Up to make about 2 dozen of these little guys for our Halloween Bash coming up next week.

I borrowed this die from a friend to complete these and now it is on my soon to purchase list. ;) I can see it being used for so many different holidays and occasions. I don't own the Big Shot but I do own the Cuttlebug and I had no problem getting this die to work with it. I would recommend purchasing the newer Cuttlebug plates that are a bit longer though. It's not necessary to own them to use this die with the Cuttlebug, but it would have made the process of cutting them out a little quicker and easier. The digi images used on these came from this blog. The best thing about these images is that they are free!! So make sure to hop on over to her blog to grab these cuties. They are adorable and perfect for a project like this.

I plan on filling them with candy corn for all of the kids, and young at heart with a sweet tooth, that attend our bash.

BEWITCHING HOUR - INVITE

The minute I saw this bewitching cutie digital stamp from The Greeting Farm I knew she would make her debut on our Halloween party invites for this year.

The invite is pretty simple and plain as I had so many to make and I take FOREVER to color but I did get to use this adorable image and my new Martha Stewart border punch so I am a happy gal.

SPOOKY TREATS

I have seen quite a few tutorials for these sour cream treat holders on SCS, but have never attempted to make them before. I could not believe how easy these were to assemble. I made quite a few of them for our Halloween party on Friday. The sentiment is part of a set from Whimsie Doodles, you can find them to the right of my blog.

Scott, the girls and I are totally excited for our party. We still have some decorating to do before Friday and Caitlin is making Scott's and my costume. I will have to post pics after Friday night. She came up with our costume idea and we are letting her run with it. Stay tuned to see what we end up as.

FRANK-INVITES

Isn't "Frank" just adorable? I found this cute idea over at SCS. They have several examples of this little guy being used as cards, treat bags and luminary boxes. I couldn't resist using him as a quick to make invite for the Halloween party we are putting on in a few weeks.

I used my coluzzle to make all of the circles for the eyes, cutting one of the circles in half for the eyelids and I used my SU round tab punch (which I cut in half) for the nose. A few quick squiggles with my black marker and he is already to go.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - CARD

I found this card last year on the Cricut MB created by "bstaarswife" and fell in love with it. It is very simple and utilizes the Studio G $1 stamps popular at Michael's, so I totally scrapjacked it. Her card is cuter and she printed her sentiment on ribbon...how did she do that? As I mentioned before I am totally ready for the holidays. Never mind the fact that it is 104 today...yuck!

HEY PUMPKIN - CARD

If you haven't had a chance to check out Whimsie Doodles, I highly recommend you do so. There is a link to the store to the right of my blog under "my favorite shopping places". I am in love with just about every digi stamp she has.

This card was made with a digi stamp from Whimsie Doodles. Isn't the little bear too cute? The sentiment is from a Studio G $1 stamp from Michael's, and the patterned paper is from a DCWV Halloween stack. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great weekend!

WITCH BEAR - CARD

I am totally in the holiday mood! I know it is like 90 degrees outside but....is it Christmas yet? I have already started my Christmas shopping, have some Christmas cards underway, and will be starting on my tags soon. I LOVE the holidays and can't wait for summer to be over.

Here is a quick card that I made last night using another Whimsie Doodles digi stamp. I also used my just recently purchased circle Nestabilities (I know I am always last to jump on board) and some scraps from last years or maybe it's the year before, (?) DCWV Halloween stack.

Hurry up fall!!!

GHOSTLY GUM SLIDERS

I found a wonderful tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers on how to make Hershey Bar Sliders. The directions stated that you could tweak the measurements to put just about anything inside, including gum packets. I would love to give the gal credit who posted the tutorial but I forgot to bookmark her post and now I can not find it. I made 40 of these for the gals that were at the swarm. They were so easy to make. You simply pull the ribbon and out comes the treat. I used paper from the DCWV Halloween Glitter Stack. The adorable ghost is a Penny Black stamp - 1911D Happy Ghost. I added a little ribbon and used a punch from Scott's work. I think SU may have a punch very similar that I need to get and of course I added a little stickles. I just can't seem to make something without putting a little sparkle on it!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - CARD

I love this time of year, the start of all the holidays!! Here is a Halloween card that I made and yes that is a Bella stamp. I'm sure I have mentioned that I am obsessed with all things Bella right?
The patterned paper is from the DCWV Halloween stack from last year. The Bella stamp is called "Witchybella", which I colored with Prismas and then used the OMS technique. The stamp inside the circle tag is a Studio G $1 stamp that I got from Michael's last year. The border of the card can be done using the Threading Water punch, can I just say that I love this punch!! I also added some Stardust Stickles to the Bella. Hey who says witches can't be cute and sparkly?

TRICK OR TREAT GOODIES

Here are a few treat bags that I threw together for fun. The black cardstock is embossed with the spiderweb A2 cuttlebug folder. I love this folder!! The cute little ghost stamp is a Studio G $1 stamp that I found at Joann's. Of course I added a little bit of Crystal stickles to the ghost. The scalloped circle was cut from the Mini Monograms Cricut cartridge at 2 1/2 inches. I plan on making tons of these for several events that I have coming up.
